Life's a beach.

Cherry Beach is one of my favorite beaches in Toronto. Especially since it is dog friendly.

In fact this is where I taught my pup to swim. Initially she was scared of bodies of water; so one day I tied her to a tree and proceeded to walk out into the lake (knee deep of course cause I still don't trust Lake Ontario water)...she watched me for a few minutes and then started crying and yelping...

When a friend untied her from that tree she immediately bolted into the water after me and she has been an avid swimmer ever since.
